we prematurely started some editing using the software IMOVIE on the Macs which was provided by the media department. it was simply to mess around and see what we could put together and venture with the transitions and settings etc, but in all honesty we didnt understand what to do and we never finished filming so it was pointless to us because eventually we would upgrade to better software called 'Final cut pro' its like a advanced version of IMOVIE and it was recommended that we used that.
