day 4 of editing- all that needs to be done now is the title shot, and a few of the ending scenes along with the billing block and 'coming soon' slogon.

the music i used did take me time to really decide on whether to use it but it was the lyrics that persuaded me to use this particular song 'Gigs Feat B.O.B-Dont go there'. this song was was meant for the cresendo part and it comes in just as the heartbeat reaches its peak and the frightening shot of the corrupt student is shown then it'll play straight toward the end of the trailer. my reasons for using this song is simply because at a certain point it repeats 'dont go there' a few times and i thought it'll be clever to actually put that there in text as well to converge the lyrics with the plot and the fact that the students shouldnt be there. usually after every cresendo in a horror trailer the pace slows down again so you have that up and down effect, at the end of my cresendo i have an moving image of a 'deranged student' who is making demonic sounds then to break away from the cresendo i've thrown in '5* Best film of 2010' then i decided to add a few more slower scenes to break up the pace along with music even one in slow motion then after that the text of 'Dont go there...' comes in as the music is saying those lyrics too I was very pleased with the effect of the chosen track. It appeals to the urban music fans as Gigs is one of the biggest grime rappers in South London and because he is huge on the underground scene, it gives the film credibility with grime fans. The slow motion scene i spoke about is now reanimated and (the music is faded out) with dialogue where im acting and saying how im terrified etc as i continue i get grabbed into the darkness which is another part of terror in my trailer, straight after that ive placed the title of the film the music is brought back up and ive but the 'coming soon'. all together the trailer is look brilliant as said by my teacher i just need to add my billing block which can be done as im doing my poster killing two birds with one stone.
